Furthermore, visitors can enjoy activities such as forest walks, hiking, bird watching and mountain biking, to name but a few.

During 2024 we successfully took Beside Still Waters off the grid with the installation of solar power, thus ensuring that the lights always stay on. In the unusual event of an emergency, we can supplement our electricity supply with a generator. Guests can rest assured - at Beside Still Waters you will not be left in the dark!

We request our guests to support us in our strive to be an environmentally friendly establishment. We try leaving a lighter footprint on our planet through solar power, recycling, composting and water conservation.

Our eco-friendly establishment has three comfortable self-catering units for families, couples or individuals. The two stylish en suite bed & breakfast rooms are the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty so characteristic of this area.

Breakfast, included or on request, is served in the dining room or on the veranda.

Free wi-fi is available in all areas. Every effort is made to allow our guests to enjoy the breathtaking view over the lake, soaking in the timeless tranquillity of the surroundings or to simply be "at peace with nature”.
